Premium furniture e-commerce platform
A full e-commerce website for a premium furniture retailer in the Dominican Republic. The platform features a product catalog, Stripe payment processing, order management, and a responsive design that showcases high-quality furniture photography.
The client needed an e-commerce solution tailored to the Dominican Republic market — supporting local payment methods, Spanish-language UX, and handling large product images without sacrificing page speed. The furniture catalog required rich visual presentation with multiple angles and room context shots.
We built the site with Next.js for optimal performance and SEO. Stripe was integrated for secure payment processing. Next.js Image optimization handled the heavy product photography, serving appropriately sized images based on device and viewport. The product catalog was designed with filtering and search capabilities to help customers navigate a large inventory.
Next.js App Router with server components minimized client-side JavaScript for catalog pages. Stripe handled payment processing with support for multiple payment methods. Tailwind CSS enabled rapid UI development with a consistent design system. Vercel deployment provided edge caching and automatic image optimization. The product data model supported variants, multiple images, categories, and SEO metadata.
The site launched and immediately became the primary sales channel for the business. Page load times under 2 seconds on mobile despite image-heavy product pages. We continue to provide ongoing support and improvements.
